The Last Leg host Adam Hills did not hold again when expressing his views on the antics of Parliament this week.

On Wednesday (February 21), Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle confronted calls to resign after a vote on a ceasefire in Gaza brought about chaos to erupt within the Home of Commons.

A vote of no confidence in the speaker was submitted by 57 MPs after he broke with conference to wave by way of a Labour amendment to the SNP's movement calling for an 'immediate humanitarian ceasefire', which later handed and not using a formal vote.

SNP MPs and a few Conservatives ended up walking out of the chamber in protest, with the choice finally which means the SNP have been unable to vote on their own proposition.

Within the chaotic scenes, the Commons was full of jeers in what many have branded 'childish' behaviour.

Ripping into the Home as The Last Leg returned for a brand new collection, Adam began by joking: 'There at the moment are rumours that Hamas have referred to as for a ceasefire in Westminster.'

'I've not seen MPs that upset since somebody forgot the booze for certainly one of their lockdown parties,' blasted Alex Brooker.

'It's pathetic. These individuals are supposed to be operating the country and they are behaving like the type of people who wouldn't be allowed on an EasyJet flight,' commented Josh Widdicombe.

After a satirical nursery-style rundown of the events with crayon illustrations and a flip chart, Adam vented: 'None of this modifications anything for the individuals they have been presupposed to be helping, the youngsters in Gaza.

'No matter what aspect of politics you're on, or what you consider what's happening in the Middle East, I feel we will all agree that every single Member of Parliament must be f***ing ashamed of what went on this week.'

'Listed here are the statistics. Because the Hamas attacks on October 7, which killed over 1,200 individuals, the Ministry of Well being in Gaza has reported over 30,000 deaths.

'In response to Save the Youngsters, over 12,000 of these deaths have been youngsters.

'In the meantime, round 113 Israeli hostages are still unaccounted for, including a boy who was 10 months previous when he was taken, alongside together with his four-year-old brother.

'No youngster deserves to be bombed and no youngster deserves to be celebrating their first birthday while being held hostage.'

Placing the subject to co-hosts Alex and Josh, he asked: 'Lads, do you assume anyone on the ground in Gaza provides a flying frog's fat a**s about what went on in Parliament this week?'

'It was unimaginable just watching it, appearing like spoilt youngsters,' Alex replied.

'There's been a variety of debate about MPs' security, and rightly so, however I feel like it's distracted from the larger debate, the actually necessary debate, which is youngsters's security. That, to me, is crucial factor.'

Josh chimed in: 'I completely agree. It was grim.

'The entire thing was get together politics, on the end of the day. There were plenty of speeches that have been about Gaza and there are MPs who care heavily about Gaza.

'However, at the finish of the day, the entire thing turned a recreation of get together politics that wasn't about Gaza, it was concerning the Basic Election that's arising.'

Adam isn't the only superstar calling out the government this week – removed from it, in reality.

Yesterday, dressmaker Katharine Hamnett filmed herself throwing her CBE in the bin as she stated she is 'disgusted to be British'& over the struggle.

The British activist, 76, greatest recognized for her assertion slogan T-shirts, shared a video clip by which she dumps her award right into a wheelie bin while sporting a prime saying: 'Disgusted To Be British.'
