A WALMART shopper has shared his emotions about self-checkout to X, previously referred to as Twitter, after feeling like he was being harassed and discriminated towards.
The retail big has had no shortage of indignant clients slamming the shop's self-checkout strategies and begging for change.


"Hey @Walmart, eliminate self-checkout," X consumer TampaJoe (@Tampa_Joe_813) began his tweet.
"Uninterested in being harassed and discriminated towards. Had staff encompass me like I used to be gonna take off with a cart filled with groceries just because I went to the checkout closest to the door and my chip not working till I swiped. Ridiculous."
Walmart has acquired a mess of complaints from clients about self-checkout.
One shopper claimed that they walked out of the store after employees told her to move to a cashier on account of what number of gadgets she was shopping for.
"I've literally walked out midway through a cart filled with shit at our Neighborhood Walmart bc they need to stop me, verify the 8 luggage filled with stuff I already scanned after which attempt to tell me to go wait in the one line they've open bc I've too much for the self-checkout," she stated in her tweet.
Another buyer stated they walked out when they saw that there were only self-checkout lanes open.
"I walked out of a Walmart yesterday once I saw that there have been no cashiers on obligation," he wrote within the& post.
"I just put the gadgets I had meant to purchase on a nearby shelf and left, as I refuse to use the self-checkout lanes (where there have been long line-ups!)."
The consumer made a press release that many other clients have been saying, "Walmart needs to return to hiring cashiers."
In one other occasion, a client gave the store an ultimatum if they didn't hire more staff.

"Idk I refuse to point out my receipt at Walmart. They will either provide employees to examine me out or they will trust that I did it proper," stated a consumer who& responded& to a& video& that was posted on& X.
"I'm not going to do all the work to examine myself out after which stand there while they examine my receipt. It's insulting."
In December 2022, Walmart CEO, Doug McMillon, explained that theft was "larger than what it has historically been" and referred to as it a big "challenge."
He feared that clients could also be negatively affected as prices might rise and places might shut.
Anti-theft measures similar to products locked behind glass and receipt checking have been carried out to scale back theft.
