Bartender Haleigh Cauley detailed the "nasty" incident allegedly involving Hailey Bieber's older sister, Alaia Baldwin Aronow — and a used tampon.
"It was a scorching mess," Cauley advised Us Weekly solely on Friday, March 1, after news broke that Aronow, 31, had been arrested for assault.
Cauley was bartending at Membership Elan in Savannah, GA, on Saturday, February 24, she says, when security knowledgeable her that there "was an intoxicated female" — who has since been identified as Aronow — and two associates within the worker restroom.
She remembered asking the three ladies to go away — noting they couldn't be within the employee restroom — before noticing that there was vomit in the rest room sink.
"Her associates stated she wanted a minute and she or he stated, 'I want to vary my tampon,'" Cauley informed Us of Aronow. "She proceeded to remain within the rest room. I informed her again she had to depart and she or he stated, 'I'm changing my tampon, do you need to see it?' And flings it up and it smacks my face."
After Cauley walked away from the state of affairs, safety immediately removed Aronow from the institution. Cauley alleged that Aronow started flailing her body, her arms "going all over the place," and claims Aronow hit one guard and "punched" one other "in the groin." Aronow also allegedly pulled out "a clump" of 1 safety guard's hair.
"[She] literally had hair in her hand!" Cauley stated. "She [was] freaking out."
Us Weekly confirmed on Friday that Aronow had been arrested and booked on four expenses — easy assault, easy battery, battery and felony trespass — following the alleged altercation.
A police report obtained by Us said that Aronow had allegedly assaulted three staff at the membership, echoing Cauley's account. Aronow advised police that she had been "defending herself" in the incident. (Aronow didn't immediately reply to Us' request for remark.)
Per Cauley, the alleged associates Aronow had gone to the bar with "have been simply sitting there watching, not likely helping" as the complete incident went down.
Cauley additionally advised Us that she has but to determine if she plans to press expenses towards Aronow for the alleged tampon flinging.
"That may be a fairly gross factor to do and as an grownup you need to know better," Cauley stated.
