Dave Myers' wife Liliana has shared a heartbreaking submit to followers days after The Hairy Bikers star's dying aged 66.
Last week, Myers' co-star and greatest good friend& Si King confirmed his death& in a gut-wrenching Instagram submit, saying the TV chef died surrounded by his family members on February 28, two years after his cancer diagnosis.
In his statement, King mentioned how Myer's wife Liliana 'introduced him such happiness as did her youngsters, Iza and Sergiu who Dave liked like his own'.
Liliana, 57, later paid tribute in her own statement, which read:& 'Rest in peace my love… Until we meet again.'
She's now thanked fans for their support over the last few days, sharing a sweet image of them each on vacation, and another of Myers grinning at the digital camera.
She wrote: 'I'll never be capable of thanks all enough for the huge wave of affection, compassion and care that you've shown in the direction of me, Simon and our families in these previous days since Dave passed.
'I would like you all to know that I have read each single message and comment that you simply sent… your stories about Dave, your feelings you shared with me mean quite a bit and my coronary heart is crammed with gratitude and love.
'It amazes me what number of hearts he touched and how many people needed to precise their love for what Dave and Si have created for almost 20 years.
'I do know the Bushy Bikers have been a part of your dwelling rooms for such a very long time and I feel your loss as a lot as you are feeling mine!
'My husband, David Myers was a bigger than life character and he did the whole lot with ardour, enthusiasm and generosity of spirit.
'His power was infinite when it got here to cooking and speaking recipes, or biking and talking bikes.
'A tremendous storyteller! And through his tales and TV appearances he was continuously inspiring and inspiring individuals to prepare dinner, journey, to stay their life to the fullest.
'An distinctive husband, fantastic stepdad, loyal pal and in his own phrases, a creator, never a follower.
'I feel I'm grieving with an entire nation… and that is one thing special.
'❤️ My fantastic Dave ♥️'
The couple met when The Bushy Bikers have been filming a present in Liliana's house nation of Romania, later getting married in 2011.
He beforehand stated it was 'love– or slightly lust – at first sight'.
