VETERAN basketball announcer Dick Vitale has revealed he'll return to the printed booth subsequent season.

Vitale underwent intensive radiation treatment and introduced he was in remission just before Christmas.
Following surgical procedure, he has now been cleared to resume broadcasting.
Vitale posted an update to his followers on X alongside his doctor Steven Zeitels.
The broadcaster, recognized affectionately as Dickie V, hailed his doctor as a "genius" before Zeitels reported on Vitale's situation.
"We did a reconstructive procedure a couple of months in the past and we're now at a spot where we see the end result," explained Zeitels.
"Your left vocal chord is now super. You need to have the ability to begin saying once more.
"You will get again to what you love to do."
An iconic voice of school basketball and a broadcasting Corridor of Famer, Vitale has suffered from three several types of cancer in recent times.
He was recognized with& melanoma and lymphoma in 2021.
Vitale was emotional in the new clip and confirmed he was concentrating on "next season" to return to the booth.

"I feel in the present day like I gained the lottery," beamed Vitale.
"I'm not going to go and do anything loopy but like video games over 2 hours. I can shoot for next season."
