A HOMEOWNER has been left issuing warnings to others after his property was bought from underneath him in a scam.
Rahim Rupani from Atlanta, has a vacation residence in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was shocked when he obtained a name from a neighbor warning him that folks have been snooping round his property.


In October 2019, Rupani acquired a call from his concerned neighbor asking if he had despatched a contractor to the house.
"He stated, 'There's two individuals get in your home and take your home picture, did you ship someone for contractor?'" Rupani advised NBC affiliate WCNC.

A police report then revealed that the house that was valued at over $300,000 was bought for just $9,000.

He claimed that suspects broke into his house after forging his signature on a quit-claim deed which he shared with the outlet.

The deed confirmed that the new owner was Black Raven Irrevocable Trust.
Police even argued with Rupani that he was not the owner of the home.
"They are saying, 'You no extra owner; it's Black Raven Trust Company. They are proprietor.'& I stated, 'No sir, I am owner,'" Rupani defined to the information outlet.

"Give them for lease to get the security deposit," Rupani stated.
