A SUSPECTED drunk cruise ship passenger hurled himself overboard as his family watched on in horror.

Surprised passengers noticed him leap at about 4am on Thursday because the Royal Caribbean ship travelled between Cuba and the Bahamas' Grand Inagua Island.
Witnesses stated his dad and brother helplessly watched him go over the aspect.
The US Coast Guard launched an instantaneous seek for him.
His determination to leap appeared impulsive, onlookers stated.
Passenger Bryan Sims stated he was "pretty drunk".
He advised the New York Post: "I had frolicked with him and his brother in the scorching tub until three.30am.
"As we have been walking from the recent tub again to the elevators, his dad and brother have been walking in the direction of us.
"His dad was fussing at him for being drunk, I assume."
Mr Sims stated the man informed his dad: "I'll repair this now."
He then jumped out the window "in entrance of us all", Mr Sims stated.
Another passenger Deborah Morrison stated there "was plenty of yelling".
She stated: "His household was horrified. Just beside themselves. I can't even begin to think about what they're going by way of."
Royal Caribbean, which runs the cruise, stated its crew started rescue efforts right away.
A spokesman stated: "The ship's crew immediately launched a search and rescue effort alongside the US Coast Guard, who has taken over the search.
"Our Care Staff is providing help and help to the guest's household throughout this troublesome time.
"For the privateness of the visitor and their family, we've no further details to share."
