Uruguayan soccer player Juan Izquierdo has died days after collapsing on the field during a game. He was 27. Izquierdo died at a local Brazilian hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 27, five days after he collapsed during a Copa Libertadores game in São Paulo, according to The Associated Press. In a statement following Izquierdo's death, Hospital Albert Einstein said he died at 9:38 p.m. local time following "cardiorespiratory arrest associated with his cardiac arrhythmia," per the AP.
