AN object shaped like a giant UFO has been spotted along a highway, shocking passengers who drove beside it.
Photos have emerged of the UFO-like object being transported on a truck in Argentina.
The dome-shaped object was spotted on a highway between the towns of Andacollo and Chos Malal, which is southwest of Buenos Aires.
The large "UFO" was strapped to the vehicle, as another passenger filmed the strange sighting.
Those who saw what looked like a flying saucer were confused by what they saw.
While some thought it had come from aliens others were sure that it was a piece of equipment.
"Could it be commercial equipment or a real UFO?" one person asked.
"It is a telecommunications antenna," another person guessed.
"The Argentine economy must be really bad to carry an intact UFO on the roads in plain sight," A third person said.
"They obviously don't have a military plane to transport it?" another person wrote.
"It looks like some type of spotlight.

In Scottsdale near Phoenix, Arizona, residents captured the moment they saw a blue UFO that came out of nowhere.
Photos show the blue cigar-shaped object hovering over the city.
The blue anomaly appeared to make twists and turns, confusing those who witnessed the once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Eyewitnesses of the event gawked at the flying orb saying, "Look at that, it's moving, that's so weird."
Others described its movement saying, "It's kinda like streaking."
The UFO at one point was believed to have started pulsating in the sky.
Many were concerned about what exactly it could be.
"It cannot be like drones or something," one man speculated.
While in flight, the blue object began to separate.
"Now it's like separating," he said. "Dude, that's crazy."
