Beverley Callard could become bankrupt for a second time. The former Coronation Street actress, 67, is under investigation after her acting firm failed to settle a £100,000 tax bill. She and her husband Jon McEwan, who are directors of their company, set the entity up after she left her role as Liz McDonald for the final time in 2020 as a way to manage her money. But, according to The Sun, it went into voluntary liquidation last year owing HMRC £101,554 in outstanding tax and VAT.
