In 2009, when Ryan Reynolds was filming The Proposal alongside Sandra Bullock, his height created a bit of a challenge for costume designer Catherine Marie Thomas. Specifically, the length of the 6' 2" actor's legs created the challenge. "At the time there wasn't a lot of great denim with long inseams," Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively on the 15th anniversary of the movie, which was released on June 9, 2009. "I think it's easier now for men with a 36-inch inseam to find pants.
