America's 10 best national parks revealed - with surprise winner a woodland oasis with NO crowds
Hikers looking to get away from the crowds should skip Yellowstone and visit a national park in Michigan instead, according to a new report. All 63 US national parks were officially ranked based on key factors including: crowd size, the quantity and quality of hiking routes, campsite availability, access to activities, mountain biking, and fishing. Some 50 percent of the total score was based on its crowd sizes, while the remaining statistics were evenly factored in the report compiled by the Wall Street Journal.
