Huge breakthrough in shocking cold case rape of quadriplegic woman in her own home
A California man has been arrested for raping a quadriplegic woman inside of her apartment 24 years after the abominable crime took place. Michael Lamonte Evans, 50, has been accused of breaking into a woman's East Bay home and sexually assaulting her on December 6, 2000. The victim - who was paralyzed from the neck down - was asleep and home alone when the aggressor crept in through her apartment's sliding back door, Concord police Sergeant Chris Souza told The Sacramento Bee.
