Major banks closed 81 locations in three weeks - is YOURS on the list?
Major American banks filed to close 81 branches across the country in less than a month. US Bank filed notice to close 35 locations in the three weeks between November 5 and 29, more than any other bank. Bank of America filed paperwork to close eleven of its branches and PNC Bank and Fifth Third Bank are both set to close ten further locations. Associated Bank, Citizens Bank, First National Bank of Pennsylvania, Chase, KeyBank, LCNB, Lincoln, Oconee, UMB and Wells Fargo also notified the regulator of impending closures in the same period.
