Warped obituary for Utah man filmed murdering his parents before being shot by police
A Utah man who was shot by police after being caught stabbing his parents to death 'enjoyed anything that was physically challenging', according to his obituary. Erik Bertelsen, 35, was killed by officers after they burst into his parents' West Valley City home and discovered him engaged in the frenzied act against Terrie and Kerry Bertelsen. The ordeal was caught on video by one of the officer's bodycams and showed Bertelsen repeatedly slashing as one of his parents' bodies lay concealed behind a couch.
