College Football Playoff committee make huge decision on location of national championship game
The College Football Playoff committee has made the decision to move the location of the 2029 championship title game. Tampa is slated to replace Dallas as the host city for the national championship game in four years' time, according to Action Network's Brett McMurphy. The committee has been forced into the change with Dallas no longer able to host in 2029 due to scheduling conflicts, the report added. Tampa, along with Phoenix and Houston, had previously been selected as back-up sites to host a future national title game if the CFP's original selected cities were no longer available.
