Grammy winner tapped to sing national anthem before Notre Dame and Ohio State championship game
R&B singer Coco Jones will perform the national anthem before Monday night's college football national championship game between Notre Dame and Ohio State. Jones is a Grammy-Award winner, having taken home the honor in the 'Best R&B Performance' category for her song 'ICU'. The 27-year-old Jones will be the third straight Grammy winner to perform the national anthem at college football's title game. The last two national-anthem performers were acapella group Pentatonix and R&B singer and former American Idol winner Fantasia.
