
Podcast host waited nearly an hour on hold with 911 after coming home to horror scene
A podcaster was forced to wait for almost one hour after calling 911 following a burglary at his Los Angeles home. Evan Lovett, host of the 'L.A. in a Minute' podcast, had just returned from his 11-year-old son's little league baseball game to find his home had been ransacked. A glass door had been smashed, while a safe had been stolen along with several priceless heirlooms. But upon calling the emergency services for help, he was left on hold for 58 minutes before his call was dealt with.
